Hi there! My name is Michael Lippautz and I am currently a software engineer at Google working on the high-performance JavaScript virtual machine V8 which is embedded in Chrome and Node.js. You can follow my coding work in almost real-time by looking at the repositories for V8 and Chromium.

I received my PhD in December 2015 at the Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Salzburg. My advisor was Christoph Kirsch; my co-advisor was Ana Sokolova. Google generously supported my PhD through the 2014 Google PhD Fellowship in Concurrent Systems.
